We’re launching the 2015 election campaign on March 8th!

“Child care is the ramp that provides equal access to the workforce for mothers”*

Want a strong economy? Vote Child Care in 2015.

We are excited to announce the launch of Vote Child Care 2015 this March 8th on International Women’s Day. We must elect a federal government that will act.  We cannot wait four more years for child care. Visit ccaac.ca on March 8th to join the campaign.

Vote Child Care 2015, led by the Child Care Advocacy Association of Canada, brings together Rethink Child Care campaign, labour, women’s and other social justice groups to promote the vision endorsed at ChildCare2020. We want the parties to adopt platforms consistent with our vision, and we want candidates to commit to it.

Spring into action for child care: A Canada-wide week of action

From May 10th-17th 2015

Our campaign starts with an exciting Canada-wide week of action for child care, from May 10th to 17th. Spring into Action for Child Care is our opportunity to gain widespread support for our vision of child care.

We call on provincial, territorial, Indigenous and local groups to work together to organize events to draw public attention to child care – events like town halls, door-to-door canvassing, rallies for child care, stroller brigades, toddler take over of an MP office and more. For provinces with existing campaigns, like the $10aDay campaign in BC, the week of action is a great opportunity to also call for federal action.

The CCAAC will report on events on our website – send an email to coordinator@ccaac.ca to let us know what you’re planning.  We are producing a Campaign Tool Kit to help you plan events
