Leading BC child care advocate puts child care on the list of 50 bold ideas for Canada

Mab Oloman became a child care advocate as a new parent in 1976.  She thought the problem would be solved by the time she became a grandmother but the child care crisis has grown.  Recently she contributed another appeal for government action on child care to This Magazine’s special 50th anniversary issue featuring the best big ideas of “Canada’s brightest, boldest, and most rebellious thinkers, doers, and creators.”
